Unlike Western quilting, pojagi traditionally uses no batting or backing, allowing the geometric seams and translucent fabric to be visible and functional from both sides.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhen made with sheer or semi-sheer fabrics (like linen or lightweight silks) and hung in a window, the double-folded seams stand out, creating a gorgeous effect similar to leaded stained glass.
