This is the first in a Barn Star series called “Scandinavian Snowflake”. It is truly fun to construct with some great techniques to be learned. It may look complicated, but it is actually quite easy to make using a panel construction. The pattern has lots of details as to how we make the panels, and the class will be full of help along the way. Several other Barn Star patterns will be available using different techniques soon.
HOMEWORK: Please have all fabrics prepared with best press or any quilting quality spray starch, please have all the fabric panel cuts and sub cuts done and put in zipper bags and labelled panel 1– 7 individually. See pattern for details or ask for help prior to cutting. Page 1 and 2 on pattern. No sewing required for homework.
