DESCRIPTION: Country Concessions is sponsoring workshops for those of you interested in helping us make Quilts of Valour. A Quilt of Valour is a hug from a grateful nation and a tribute to an injured Canadian Armed Forces member, past or present. Although most of us will never know the soldier who will receive our quilt, imagine what it would be like for you if you did know the soldier. What if that soldier was your spouse, your brother/sister, your friend or your child? If you would like to lend a hand, all you need to bring is your sewing machine, and the usual sewing supplies along with your desire to give back! There is no charge for this workshop and we would like to extend an enormous thank you to the teacher, Senora for generously donating not only her time for the class but organizing everything behind the scenes. Come one, come all! Many hands make light work. Although there is no charge for this “class”, you still need to sign up as there is limited space.
