We wil cover: The function of the walking foot and how it will help our quilting process. Some of the different techniques using the walking foot include, straight line (cross hatch, echo stitchings etc) curves and organic lines. How to use and quilt with Golden Threads(a tissue like paper). How to quilt using stencils, some will be provided to try and various geometric techniques
HOMEWORK: 8-10 12' X 12" quilt sandwiches preferably light non printed 100% cotton fabric for the tops and any 100% cotton for the backs for practice samples
